Any Chance Dragonfable Gets Cross-Platform Too?
Title says it all. Gotta be honest, I get Adventure-Quest was the one everyone clung to but for whatever reason Dragonfable was the game I always preferred out of their catalog. It still gets pretty regular updates and a few thousand players, so while it's not as big I like to think there's a chance if things go well with Infinity's release. What do you think?

Dragon fable is still goated and way ahead of its time.
I'd PAY for a dragon fable standalone.

Heck yeah. Main reason I'm hoping for it is it'd be nice to have a version you could maybe download to your computer and play offline in case you have to deal with internet outages or visiting somewhere with little to no connection.

Be ESPECIALLY cool if we could finally get a dedicated in-game catalog. Like for all the enemies and items you find. Dragonfable has some cool art, especially lately, but trying to look it up on the wiki's only shows about 1/5th of it and usually in very low quality.

This last point is definitely the biggest reach, but imagine if those choices you get in the game sometimes were actual choices. Like when Frydae asks if you want to be a vampire, or how you handle the last scrap of the Stranger's cloak maybe letting you prevent Serenity from dying.

I hope big time they modernize DragonFable to be played on mobile/other. It's my main Artix game. The one I put the most time/money/effort into.

Although Dragonfable updates include graphics updates to old areas/rewrites of past grammar. Since they're already "remastering" it in that sense, it kind of makes me nervous about DF going cross platform and getting a similar update to this

I think the combat and exploration of Dragonfable would lend well to a mobile platform for sure, but I'm not gonna pretend to know anything about cross-platform coding. Still hope they do it someday though. Think being able to click a button on a phone or tablet might bring in a lot more people than having to download a launcher.

Heck yeah they should port DragonFable to mobile devices. I would play the hell out of it.

I would easily pay 60 dollars for an offline version of Dragonfable on Steam. Both for the sake of easy accessibility and game preservation.
You can play dragon fable on the Artix Launcher

Yes, this is! Adventure Quest, Dragon Fable and Mech Quest offline versions should be released. Nobody wants to constantly pay membership fees for those old browser games. However, if they sell it at a price higher than the full version and make all the content accessible then they would be one of the best 2D offline games. I miss them so much.

Especially if enemies finally got canonical levels instead of just always being the same tier as the player. More meaningful player choices would be neat too. Not necessarily entirely different story paths since that might be hard to implement, but at least a few different branches you can choose since it's just you and not a whole community.
