Will I need the aqw launcher to play this game ?
I remember playing this game for so many hours long back I am excited to see it coming on steam but do I have to download the artix/aqw launcher as well to play this?

No, the Artix Games Launcher is only for their Flash games. This version of AQWorlds will run on Unity and launch through Steam. Their other Unity game, AQ3D, is also on Steam and also does not need the launcher.
