we need a new rule, steam need to check games, if stutter=no pass on store....we cant go ahead with 90% ue5 games with stutters

a quality check

Yup ! classic unreal engine shader compilation stutter. No buy from me. Such a shame because the game is fun and art style is nice

Yeah, really hoping they precompile shaders in the final game, along with adding upscalers like DLSS

Game also needs to be made DPI aware so it's always the right resolution, regardless of Windows Zoom settings

Well at least we got a demo so we can all see that it runs like crap with this incredible annoying stutters. Just don't buy this game until they add shader compilation.

Also why do I need to press tab + 1,2,3,4 & 5 to use skills while being in a tank? Why can't I just press 1,2,3,4 & 5?

Robocop added shader compilation right before launch after a terrible demo so we'll see but we need to be heard.

Not even my 7800X3D was enough. Stutters every time you encounter something new.

yep, as always with ue5, immortal of aveum is the same, new animation, new magic, new monster...anything new=stutter, but there are good developer too...for example remnant2 is ue5 but is perfect, so is possible do it.

Game looks fantastic and the combat is extremely fun but yeah, it stutters and hitches really bad especially in combat. Here's to hoping they release a patch for the demo to fix it. I have the recommended specs and it plays like I'm running it with Intel integrated graphics or something.

I thought this was UE4, not 5.

Forced dx11 and it runs at a locked 4K 120fps no stutters at all. This is with a 7800x3d and a 4080.

Yep, a stutter along with every single new enemy, object, attack, etc. Classic shader stutter, as we've sadly come to expect from UE games. Hopefully they can include a precomp step in the final game. Running under DX11 does help a good deal. A bit of stutter at the beginning, and mostly (though not entirely) smooth after that.

It still stutters with 11. Use RTSS and show the framegraph you'll see lots of little stutters. They're less bad than 12 but still there.
