Possible Hints and Tips

Anyone wants to help start a big discussion on things you wish you knew before getting too far into the game?

My two* tips are:
1. Get the Hopper as soon as possible, and dont waste time on harder than usual jumping puzzles. There are some exploration areas like the tower of rocks where there is amazing ore, but trying to use the normal jump-bot to get to them is an exercise in frustration. Also it almost seems like there might be a better jumping version than hopper since this area is so high...
2. Save before touching the sidequest icon, that way if it gives you a choice, you can go back and see what the other option/choice does.
3. If you're ocd about helping out all the folks in the game, then make a note of any undocumented side-quest you get or random key* items you pick up. There is a lot of random dialogue in the game tied to stuff like that.
4. Keep vehicle camera tracking(in controls options), on for car, motorcycle etc. Trying to turn in the race tracks and/or combat with it off is hard.
5. Acceleration ex chip on Battle Tank is amazing for suddenly dodging projectiles! 🥳
6. Some ruins require you to have a bot that can move things forward or backwards, or that are fast enough to launch over a gap, make note of them.
7. Keep your sound for voice on!(if you want). When thief smells treasure nearby if you have the skill for finding hidden treasure, he will say as much then you just activate the skill to find it.
8. This one shouldve been first but i just remembered, locate the radio towers in each area so you can get the general icons if you have them on for the map.
9. Always check behind every nook and cranny and areas after boss fights.

Hunter Missions and Races can give useful loot like frames.

Keep healing items topped up before doing boss fights.

Going off of the beaten path can give nice stuff.

Destroy all hostile vehicles as they can yield major upgrades or allow you to possibly build a vehicle you might not be able to make parts for yet so long as you have a frame.

Don't fear enemies that are significantly higher level than you. You can beat them with a bit of patience and a lot of moving around.

Don't forget to stretch, hydrate, and look away from your screen in order to stay healthy and mitigate fatigue.

When summoning vehicles, spam X button (on my Dualsense, not sure about keyboard) to instantly get on the vehicle.

Don't need to spam. Just hit attack during the early part of the throwing animation.

Dont forget to drift with X button on bikes and cars, it doubles the fun.
