Stan or Ves

So i was doing this sidequest on getting raptor steel and i had give scales to a brother and sister who would do a contest on whoever makes the best steel and the beter one would go to spino.

Now i've gotten to a point where now i'm told to just talk to who i want to go to spino and now i'm conflicted.
Is there a difference between the two or does it not matter?

to my understanding theres no difference, just who you want to see more when you go to buy things

I went with Ves. It made sense to me based on numerous spoilery factors.

Stan wanted to stay, Ves wanted to go and, while not as good, eager to get better. I rather see the chirpy one than one who rather I forgotten about the quest.

I thinking about takin Stan. Id rather take someone already professional, that freewillin wannabe that still learns.

Chose Ves, think they are 100% just the flavor for the components/alloys shop as the inventory is the same between both.

Ves. She's more enthusiastic and actually wants to go to Spino. Spino is all about beginning anew and growth, so I figure metaphorically, Ves is a better choice. She will grow along with the village.
