game supports 5120x1440 32:9 ultrawide out of the box, but the resolution is not listed so if i change anything in the settings, like turning off motion blur or uncapping frames it breaks the resolution and drops it down to 3400x1400. Making edits in the gameusersetting.ini doesn't work either

Okay i’m glad im not the only one having the same issue. Doesn’t seem like flawless widescreen has a plugin yet either.

I'm messing with the demo and it didn't even let me use 5120x1440. It just defaulted to 3440x1440, which would be fine, but it's clearly not that resolution because it's not crisp/clear.

I think they think the game supports 5120x1440 because the very first time you launch the game it fills the whole screen. But as soon as you touch one of the settings that vanishes as the resolution isn't showing up in the drop down either. And after that there is no way to put the game back into a 32:9 resolution.

At that moment I just uninstalled the demo and didn't get to the gameplay to see if in that mode if it was working on 32:9 if you didn't touch the settings at all. But my feeling is that the game would have been rendered at 21:9 and then top and bottom cropped.

Same situation as the demo. Seems to support ultrawide until you change any of the video settings, then it pillarboxes. In my case, it defaults to 2560x1600 since my native res is 3840x1600. UUU (v3.0.21) seems to work for FOV adjustbment but not resolution. Borderless Gaming and Fullscreenizer don't seem to work.

Exactly this. It happened to me in the demo and I thought it would be fixed in the full game. It's crazy that even changing the .ini file itself doesn't do anything. I despise motion blur and would love to be able to turn it off and keep my resolution

The game works as long as you don't change anything. The game even has an animation to change it to letter box and back in cutscenes.

I used the revo uninstaller to delete anything associating with the game and that worked for me. This time, I just didn't bother toggling the resolution to keep the initial setting for 32:9.

the setting doesn't exist fo 5120x1440 so changing any setting in the game ruins it.

You can try unreal engine unlocker and the hotsampling option to set a specific resolution while the game is running. I've managed to get a resolution that isn't in the game options to stick this way, if you change any display settings which revert to game defaults you can just set the hotsampling option again after.

Had the same problem. Glad there was a demo. I never started the gameplay so I don't even know what the game's about - and don't care now. Uninstalling demo and won't be buying.

Load a save, turn off cloud saves, delete your usersettings.ini, exit the game, turn cloud save back on, start the game, choose local save, problem solved.

Where is usersettings.ini stored?
