Gameplay: The first hour and a half of gameplay is a roller coaster of patience for me. Forced auto-drive vehicle sections at the start, a lot of cutscenes to skip, no incentive to get out of the vehicle other than materials that I still haven't used for crafting or selling, stilted physical combat, really poor forced stealth section...All of that is mostly the first hour with me skipping a lot because I actually know most of this from the Manga or can read into it. Then I had a fight with a group of tanks and an airship and I was having a blast for the limited time I was doing so.
Story: If you've read Sandland, you know the plot. Just add a random female mechanic into it and expand a bit here and there and you've got it. If you're not a fan and are interested enough in the world it's serviceable.
Customized Vehicles: Hour and a half in, I haven't gotten to do so yet. Think I am just able to do so.
Reaching an hour and a half I am debating on a refund to buy another game that could be more fun. I see where it is most fun, the vehicle combat makes me miss things such as old Battle Tanks for the N64 and the like, but with the cost it feels like it should've been giving more right out the gate for you to enjoy than ripping the controller out of your hands and making you listen to something that you could keep moving to listen to.
Bought the deluxe, tank guns do almost double damage, so that makes it worth it to me. Havent seen the furniture stuff yet, but looks to be a good deal.
