Not enough, without Akira Toriyama people wouldn't have a demo to hate.
At least, get rest in peace and thank you in main page credits.
Art is the cover, even steaming piles of garbage thanked Kevin Conroy for voicing batman for decades. Using same art style that was created by Toriyama without thanking the man to allow SAND LAND to excist in the first place, His cultural impact is massive and emotion provoking gesture, empty platitudes that can be skipped isnt enough. Entire world stopped on its track on march 1st to mourn the man, no matter race, color or creed. Think about that for a minute.
Akira Tribute should be front and center not just a text blurb in credits which most people skip anyway
lil bro toriyama's dead he dont need you defending him, he wont come back and acknowledge you, its a video game, grow up and get over yourself
Don't sully his name.
Right. So then people can be like "WHAT, how dare they use his designs and not give him credit!"
You know before he died, he -did- approve of this project, right? C'mon now. Not everything he did was an absolute gem or a win. That being said, this isn't even -out- yet and people are already throwing it aside.
If they plastered "In memory of" all over the store page and the game, they'd almost certainly be accused of trying to use his passing for personal gain.
I am sure there will be mention of it somewhere in the game, and that's all there needs to be.
We are all aware of his passing, and it is sad.
It'd be kind of weird if there weren't though. It's pretty standard practice to do something like that. Even more so if the person who passed is so central to the thing being made.
Also pretty weird to argue that it should be plastered everywhere, or literally nowhere.
Just expect to see a mention of it somewhere, be it credits or somewhere else, and be content that they did that.
