Did they change the terrible music?

A lot of reviews I have read mention the repetitive music. And yes there are multiple threads on it here. Its clearly something that bothers about half the games players.

I don't have any issue with the music. But I hope this version doesn't play the same song over and over like the itch version did.

besides that, how and why would they change the music, which fits perfectly for the speed? nobody ever even mentioned that. it will also not happen. guess you have to play something else then.

I played it for a couple hours earlier. I would have to disagree. Its horribly repetitive. This is a great game. But the music needs to be more varied.

I haven't heard any bad music in the game, must be your problem.

The only complain I have is, that there is no 500% slider and that it's a lil bit too repetitive.

Totally, even if you like it, this isn't super Mario bros on a 16 kilobyte cartridge, therefore variety shouldn't be artificially limited.

P.s. even that game had actual melodies and themes.

Except isn't artificially limited, that's nonsense. They specifically chose the music because it fits the atmosphere they're going for. You don't have to like it, but acting like it's their duty to cater to your taste shows an embarrassing lack of self-awareness.
