My thought after 100% the game
To start, I personally love creature collector style games, bonus points for building/decorating and breeding mechanics for colors, stats, etc.

I thoroughly enjoyed this game. I got it for my partner due to his love for amphibians and reptiles, with frogs being one of his favorite animals. I also got a copy for myself as I loved the look and art style. I may even go back and play more of my finished game just to make all the frog areas super cute and decorate more with the walls and pathways (The butterfly chairs, benches and lamp are my all time favorite items.)

- The breeding mechanic was different and I liked how it worked (even when it wouldn't give me what I needed.) I didn't find the tic-tac-to super difficult or punishing even for the late game frogs. Then again I had saved up nearly 85,000 gold just enjoying the game.
- Money wasn't super hard to get and didn't feel overly grindy. I even spent quite a bit upgrading everything and got all the areas to 100% bio-diversity which resulted in a lot of incoming items to make money with. I'd make the best stuff and then use whats let on whatever was craft-able. I also recommend bee-hives for honey as they sell well. Also I found for the other two areas, if you clicked the ? at the top for help there is a section about megaponds that will show you how to make the megapond in that area and it updates when you get the next area to show that one as well.
- Getting the bugs to tame all the frogs was only a bit troublesome in the very beginning for me, but once I got the ponds and plants up to get some insect hotels, I was golden. And with some of the extra money could get the helpers to get what I was low on. I recommend around 3-5 hotels in each area, it helps a lot.

A few things I wanted to ask and make notes of were a few bugs I and my partner had and a few game dev questions.

The only bug we ran into was the game freezing up a few times that some others seemed to have encountered as well.
- I had it when I unlocked the flower baskets. A pop up said that I could make the baskets but I was un-able to click continue. I tried clicking everything, hitting my keyboard ESC button, clicking over to my second screen and then back to the game but nothing seemed to work. I was afraid I'd lose progress for closing the game so I starting hitting keys on my keyboard until one of them (I'm unsure which) opened up one of the other menus (it was either the Frogdex or the mission tab.)
- My partners game also froze up a few time and he had to re-open the game to fix it but luckily didn't seem to lose any progress.

As for my questions for the devs, are there any plans for more updates like frog colors or patterns? As other have mentioned, in the breeding there are two colors, lavender and mint, that don't seem to be obtainable. I also noticed in the help section one of the first pictures shows frogs with this darker blue color as well. Are these test colors or will they perhaps be added one day cus I would personally love that. As with the colors, are there any plans for additional areas? If not thats ok, I enjoyed what the game has but was curious if I should keep an eye on it other than playing occasionally in my free time.

Anyway, thank you for reading my thoughts and I hope everyone enjoys this game as much as I do.

Hello, many thanks for your kind words. We are always really happy reading about what players have to say about the game. We already spent two years putting a lot of love into it and we are not sure we are going to make a lot of updates: the game is balanced as we wanted it to be and it tells the story we wanted to tell. We are sorry about the freeze-bug, maybe it was caused by the whole game zone being really full ? The game saves very frequently on PC, so normally there should not be many losses in case of issues. Many thanks again for your detailed comments.
