if you don't like the controls, then this game just isn't for you, because they are the core gameplay mechanic

The sad thing is that I actually received relatively positive and constructive feedback for my original comment. Some people were actually (dare I say) helpful.
But you had to be that one guy that reminds me of why the forums are a cesspool filled with the lowest common denominator.
One key would be nonsense, but reversing the controls without using some complicated Steam Input macros (I've only managed to turn on toggle controls, but it didn't work well) would work great iMHO. You still would have to control each hand separately, but with less trigger holding.
He's right, you're exactly that guy. The devs dont have to make a game FOR you that fits YOUR needs. You have an issue with it, skip the game. Nobody is forcing you to play it.
This exact way of using both triggers is what i love about the core gameplay of the game. If you have an issue with it, move along. This game might actually not be for you, and that's totally fine. Your issue is that you dont want to accept that.
This is absolutely correct.
The topic creator failed to comprehend the whole point of the game and now blames it on others.
The game DOES need improvements like a faster paced gameplay (the pauses between when you can hold the ledge with each hand are completely unnecessary and slow the game down), but it absolutely needs the two hand system to be what it wants to be.
Braindead mode that plays with only the control stick can be an accessibility option, sure. But it should be something the player manually has to search out in the options, not a real part of the game.
