Bug: Quests reset after beating a dungeon

Hi there, I just started playing this game and I completed the tutorial. But I found out that after I beat the Thousand Cuts dungeon, the introduction to the taxidermist happened again, and I also had to repeat the guild expansion quest.

Also, the Thieves Den now is marked as Level 0 again, even though it's still upgraded, and the Thousand Cuts dungeon reset so it's not counted as beaten.

I'm not sure if the problem is exclusive to that dungeon, or if it's something else entirely, but I thought you may want to check that.

I'm getting some weird game flow logic problems like this too. It seems to revert to pre-quest after beating a dungeons sometimes and repeat story beats.

I have the problem with savings too. Devs said that there are the problems with servers, but i don't know is this causes resetting the progress.

Same, beat a dungeon with the wizard, the dialogue all repeated and I upgraded a different building, now I've got the priest and no wizard available

Well, it's good to know I'm not the only one with this problem... XD

I hope the developers look into this, because I'm not sure if I want to keep playing right now while the quests are in this state.

Tried again, beat a stage with the priest, built a wizard thing, beat a stage with him, progress reset back to just having the priest building. Think I'll wait a while before I play any more

I wonder if this is weird issue with getting it free on Steam? I had it happen twice while I was playing, but kept playing. Then when I just finished for now, I am getting Steam Sync error, and it's saying I don't own the game when I looked at global steam achievements, and when I got to store page.

Has everyone here got it for free from having original?

I'm guessing saving is just broken somehow. I tried again real quick and beat a level then tried to quit the game to force it to save. 1)It won't let me quit because saving is in progress, and 2)I'm now realizing it says "Saving..." at the top of my screen and it isn't going away. Best guess is the game won't let you quit while it's trying to save but will let you do other stuff then mess itself up

It did let me do change kingdom which kicked me back to the title screen, then reentering the kingdom screen reveals everything's been rolled back to before the dungeon I beat

Thieves guild resets to 0 after every run.

Haven't played in a while (got the free version as I bought on steam and apple). So went through the tutorial and had the same dungeon repeat and had to choose the class upgrade again, but when I chose the other quest it was fine.

Having the same issue. The "Saving..." text never goes away and every time I go back to town the upgrades are gone and the dungeons are back. It's erasing any progress no matter which one I pick.

After retiring from the jungle dungeon with only the boss left in the game (but the boss worse for wear) came back to town screen with "Saving..." up the top and Incorrect Kingdom Gold (176 instead of approximately 400). It appears to be frozen or could be in an infinite loop. Task Manager doesn't say the game is "Not Responding". Clicking on screen menu at top right or hitting ESC does nothing.
