MORSE
Rebind keys to use commercially available USB interface for morse keys / iambic paddles
Just came across this, really enjoyed the concept of it. However one issue is that I am kind forced to use the mouse or predefined keyboard keys. I would prefer to use my own hand key and then spacebar to launch the app.

There is an online chatgroup (think mIRC) but for CW/morse code, on there they sell a usb adapter. There are also a lot of homebrew solutions for it using an arduino for this webapp. It's basically keyboard emulation for LCtrl and RCtrl for paddle usage. Would be great to be able to use allow rebinding, and even better if iambic paddles can be programmed natively. https://hamradio.solutions/vband/

Thanks for the game, would probably buy the game when it comes out.

definitely would be nice to let you re-bind the dit/dah keys, came here to make the same post. There are a few different interfaces like the VBand adapter, and something as simple as letting people bind their own controls should be lower hanging fruit than programming in a way to read a paddle/key directly or through a keyer

Hello! I am currently working on rebind functionality, is there any key (no pun intended) functions that you'd want as part of it? To keep it clean, I'll be keeping it to just the core inputs, CW input and firing. Thanks!

Key binding has been added to the game! Let me know how you get on with it. Unfortunately in Stencyl there's no way to distinguish between Lctrl and Rctrl but there's a lot of other keys available to pick! https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/1976860?emclan=103582791471862782&emgid=539983683367472645
