Only clown here is you
The key is being frugal and disciplined. Believe it or not, you don't need all characters, even the cool ones. At some point, you'll be able to figure out your play style and know what units matches your play. Sure, there are mandatory units like the ones on Raids (Burnett is one of them for Inhibitor, for example), but overall, the rest are not so much.
I started a KR account 3 months ago, and the new player experience is not even bad, it might be even better than before because all of the free things you get from the TaskForce missions. Also you don't need to build multiple ships or different squads for dives and Danger Close. The amount of quartz in my main account is still the same and goes up slowly still. People just complaining without evidence and over exaggerate the effects of the update...
Cringe, "People complain without having evidence" If you actually played the game enough this game has a LOT of issues and isn't as perfect as you make it out to be, The old ver was and always will be better than the current, the only good thing is that the new UI looks clean. other than that, rates are ♥♥♥♥, mission-locking events for new players put them off, Dives and dailies go from being fun for about a few weeks to feeling like a chore to keep up with the game and if you were to go pay to win, the current prices aren't worth it. it's not even worth it because it's not even good value for money, the hololive event even showed how bad it is.
But like a few other players, we play to collect nice-looking characters and when it comes to steam there aren't many gacha games so it's best to settle for what you can get. Anyone can save gems, it isn't hard, gems are pretty much useless for some pointless skins, some upgrades and more. yet still useless. Im pretty sure most players have around 5-10k worth of gems because it isn't hard to do. getting free quartz is great don't get me wrong but they should be better uses for them, the gacha rates are so incredibly ♥♥♥♥ that have to save at least 80 tickets a role and even then that's being lucky. I like and dislike the game but it defo isnt as good as your making it out to be. personally, no gacha game will ever beat Azurlanes rates, yet on this game, it feels like dailies are a second job/chore as f2p
You're absolutely clueless if you think the current game is in a better state than it was before the update, respectfully
the rates arent average, the rates are similar GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE, pretty damn bad
True but the sad thing is, the gacha market is doing great on every other platform, yet steam hardly has any gachas sadly. i know bluestacks and mobiles good but i prefer to have them all in one place. so we kinda just have to deal with it for the time play, i personally dont enjoy the game but i like the story and the collection side of it
Thats true, they do have nice characters on average too
* Genshin 0.6%
* Honkai Star Rail 0,6%
* Arknights 2%
* Blue Atchive 3%
* Epic7 1.25%
Yeah CounterSIde with 3.5% is sooooo low. It's funny people who don't play gachas explain what is norm and what isn't.
That's why Bside has managed the game so badly after Origin, the community sabotages itself instead of coming together to ask for improvements.
Every day Counter is losing more money and players, to the point that Global now earns less than before the merger with JP.
I really like the game in terms of history, gameplay and graphics, so much so that I bought all the passes and banners, but I'm not going to play blind or be happy that my money brings me now huge advantages. Origin certainly marked the end of an era in Counter without bringing relevant improvements compared to the problems.
I'm not going to lie that I have hopes for this game to return to its peak, but I expect that Bside notices and fixes its flaws before it's too late, especially for the amount of money I spent here.
Again wrong, i can easily say i play more gachas than you. Counters gacha is alright, not good but defo leaning more towards bad, anyone that would play the game past dailies would know this.
yeah im shocked how they bounced back on reviews though because i like the updates visuals but thats pretty much it, i think event locking missions is so bad, especially for new players trying to get into the game
