This new update is pretty terrible, or turn anyone else off?

The whole ATK/DEF % stuff for ASSR dupes, some things just seem a step backwards in general or more of a hassle. Combined with servers which we don't have access to certain units in PvP due to collabs we never got, among a lot of other weird design and pricing choices.

This is coming from someone who really never had problems with CS till now, always was fun to play casually and be it PvP or PvE was a enjoyable gacha game. I've always bought packs and such, but man this newest update felt like it's pushing a lot of us in my guild away.

We shouldn't even have pvp cross region. Probably why there's maintenance again.

Totally agree, i enjoyed the game and even was willing to spend some money but several aspects of this new update seem like they're just trying to make the game more monetary. There's the most expensive skin released, the new upgrade system that makes rolling dupes a requirement for maxing characters( i think maybe i'm misunderstanding the system), and they're just letting people straight up purchase Awakened units. When i look at all of this stuff I don't know how i feel about this new direction they're heading in. On top of that the new UI is just worse. I used to be able to see my max inventory space, character inventory and strategy battle tickets right from the home page, what could possibly be the justification for taking that away?

We are all merged w/ PvP. So they gave Code Geass and I think Guilty Gear, just sucks that we will have to vote out units we don't have access to for PvP players... like imagine having character bans for ranked PvP on a character you can't even field or even have the opportunity of getting/buying ever. Weird.

Just feels like they're going more, and more, and more backwards. Like sure I can't blame them for the collab being a middle aged guy and wishing it was something cool to me like Gundam/Mecha/or ANYTHING besides that vtuber thing. (though I understand and hope their fans liked it) But man.... CS devs are making really odd decisions lately and each update seems to take a step back or like try to turn away the players that have been "loyal" playing from release.

I'll be taking an extended break from this game after this update, the constellation system was such a dumb idea to add this late into a games life especially after we just got rearm and everyone burned their dupes. That rubbed me the wrong way, the menu feels so bad as well.

CS used to be log in, daily, guild raid, PvP, then like whatever else you wanted to do (or not do) could be as casual as you'd like, or deep w/ teambuilding and different modes here and there to mess around in. All the newest updates seem just like... backwards as mentioned and I agree a lot with your statement. A lot of my Consortium that has been going strong together is like wtf also. Honestly made me think about dropping the game today with no qualms, not being hasty yet so we'll see.

This seems the consensus, I honestly think this could kill our already low player counter for Global. Everyone is mimicing the sentiment of Blueside just spat in our mouths and we gotta act like we like it hahaha.

Yeah, this seems like really bad update, that broke stuff that didn't even need fixing in 1st place. Removing lvling from sweeps, white HP bars, horrible UI, new dupe system and more.

It's like devs had to come up with some big flashy update for management to be happy. And everyone forgot about players. Even freebies are behind daily gind. Like seriously?

It's a mess. I've only been playing for ~2 months so sunk cost fallacy hasn't really kicked in yet, but I still feel kinda bad and not too hopeful for the future of this game. A shame, since it had "overwhelmingly positive" reviews despite being a gacha back when I started playing, which got me curious enough to give it a try. I'm thinking of giving it maybe another month before making a decision as to whether dump it or stick around.

Like overnight my mood changed immediately after seeing some of the changes, like sure UI probably is better and I got used to a convoluted mess so sure I gotta have patience... but man a lot of the other stuff isn't a good sign going forward for the dolphin-ish players, or even some whales. BIG disadvantage to us who liked PvP it's gonna be even more niche, plus bigger pool going against units we don't have probably frustrates me the most.

The changes are horrible, for them we are just clowns they want to milk, that's how it feels.

Its sad really, I just started like a week ago and then this terrible update comes along
doesn't look like i'll be sticking around after all. what a shame I was really enjoying the game too.

If it says anything I've legit loved CS since launch and never had a hassle logging in, events, did live PvP (was fun to me but not everyone's cup of tea) and never really felt burn out or a hostile feeling towards how the devs handled things... till today! Lol

I guess it's almost better you aren't as invested? You can still see if they address it, whereas if I quit I may have spent a bit and are willing enough to cut my losses haha.
