You need to sign in with whatever account binding method you chose on mobile. I don't think linking with a guest account works, so you should have something.

That can't be. Are you sure you used the right account? If you are absolutely sure then you have to contact support.
If your steam account is fine, so should be the account on the phone. They are exactly the same one, provided you log in with the right account/method. If that really isn't a thing, only support can help you.

Every patch mobile accounts get erased unless you had linked them to your google account or some other permanent method. They mentioned linking to your steam account was a one time thing...so unless support is able to do something for you then you're probably out of luck.

I have the same problem. I logged out of my Counterside account on my iPhone and cannot log in using Steam. It only gives options to log in using Facebook, Google, Twitter, Apple. I never linked my account to any social media sites...only Steam. There should be an option to link to Steam account from login on phone client. I also submitted a ticket.

I'm able to log out of my mobile account and log back in just fine. It was connected through Google. Make sure you're logging into the correct Google account since there can be multiple.

If none of the options work, it means your Counterside account was never linked by any other method besides Steam.

Google is basically just a log-in method. The "link" with Steam is just so you can play your account on Steam as well, or play your Steam account on mobile. You still need a login method though.
Some games do this with weird passwords and userids so you can get your account when you switch devices. But it's much more common to do this via google and such today.

If it actually allows you to link accounts between phone and steam without that account no longer being a guest account, that would be quite weird. But to be completely honest, I don't remember it anymore. Still though. Any game on mobile hard requires you to have a backup method for the account. Either a password or a user ID, or if offered stuff like a google account. This isn't automatically, like it works with Steam. If you don't do it, deleting the game, getting a new device or whatever will lose you the account, period.

If you never "backed up" your account on phone with one of the options, then only support could possibly help.

Login again on mobile using your initial login method
