Does this game get boring quickly?
Hello all,

Seen this game a week ish ago, and it instantly reminded me of Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles with the Wagon, sort of acting as the Chalice players had to carry, and having a somewhat smaller area they have to fight in. At least that's the kind of vibes this game is pulling off to me. The only "off-putting" thing for me, is it also looks a lot like Overwatch's "Payload" type of game, which doesn't look too appealing.

I'm curious to anyone who's played this for a little bit, if that's basically the entire gameplay Loop following around some payload, and if it gets repetitive, or super boring quickly, I would also like to know if this game is "solo" friendly or not. It does look fun coop, but if the gameplay loop is incredibly boring, I doubt I could convince any of my buddies to pick it up along side me.

I would not bother playing single player in my opinion. It’s not really designed for that primarily and I don’t think you’d get much out of it.
I had a blast playing it with my friends for a couple of hours. It’s very limited in content at the moment, which is fine but since you seem on the fence I’d say don’t get it. There are only two bosses and then the run ends. I loved it but I don’t mind not having meta progress and my main goal of play was to have fun with my friends, which it provided.
The entire loop is following the wagon, occasionally stopping for battles

Unfortunately me and my wife did find out that the game got boring too quickly due to the lack of content, repetitive gameplay and very slow pacing. We got bored within a single long playthrough where we reached later stages but decided to stop as the excitement died out.

That's more or less what I was worried about. Just lack of content, and things become way too much of the same thing.

Game just needs more development it would seem.

Again, I thought the idea itself looked interesting, but I can see how it could get boring quickly.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles had the same loop, it just had that certain charm, and difference in gameplay about it, that did make it replayable for a long time. Could just be Nostalgia speaking though.

What a shame, I thought I could play single player. The game is priced at $15 for very limited content of 1 or 2 hours.

Hello everyone, sorry for the late response, we're still catching up with all the feedback over the holidays.

We're sorry to hear that some of you are bored due to the lack of content. And even though it is hard to hear, we appreciate the feedback!
We have plans for the future for things like player upgrades, more challenges, lore and more. As we're a small team, this all takes time. But we hope to bring you updates in the near future :)
