I had a blast playing it with my friends for a couple of hours. It’s very limited in content at the moment, which is fine but since you seem on the fence I’d say don’t get it. There are only two bosses and then the run ends. I loved it but I don’t mind not having meta progress and my main goal of play was to have fun with my friends, which it provided.
The entire loop is following the wagon, occasionally stopping for battles
That's more or less what I was worried about. Just lack of content, and things become way too much of the same thing.
Game just needs more development it would seem.
Again, I thought the idea itself looked interesting, but I can see how it could get boring quickly.
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles had the same loop, it just had that certain charm, and difference in gameplay about it, that did make it replayable for a long time. Could just be Nostalgia speaking though.
We're sorry to hear that some of you are bored due to the lack of content. And even though it is hard to hear, we appreciate the feedback!
We have plans for the future for things like player upgrades, more challenges, lore and more. As we're a small team, this all takes time. But we hope to bring you updates in the near future :)
