Is the 2 Player option still available?

In the old versions of the game (example, 2013) there was a 2 Player option using which two players can play against each other using the same PC. Is that option still there in the new versions? (Or can anyone know the last version of the game that had the 2 Player option?)

2013 will be the last year of 2 player mode.
