Silver and Cobalt
I notised that sometimes info on a planet says it have Silver, but dont have (must be a bug)
Were do I find Cobalt? I cant upgrade my fuel to more that 300 so I cant get so fare out and non of the planets iv been on dont have Cobalt.

Resources on scan show only resources that were found at least once on the type of asteroid. This doesn't have to mean that the resource is there, and some resources are not over ground.

You can jump to empty space directly sideways right from starting location twice, and the 3rd jump will have a station that You can use to jump to 2nd area asteroids, whihch have more resources than in first area.

The scanner only shows you data from the knowledge base - you can see what resources you have discovered on this asteroid class in the past, not what resources will be guaranteed to show up (thought we try to have at least a bit of everything)

And yes - there can be things underground that require handheld scanner to find + drills to extract

Ok. It was the info on the planet it self(the one I traveled to) and not in the knowledge base.

I meant more the info panel on the map will show you data based on what you have discovered. Those discoveries are also visible in the knowledge base!

I was able to go to the new station and from there I found what I was searching for :-)

If you're having issues with travelling one option is to use asteroids to your advantage and go mining on ones that are heading in the direction you want. The longer you stay on it the further out you can go which means you can potentially get from one station to the next with just two jumps and the right rock.

Currently there's no penalty for staying after it's gone out of the claiming zone, I'm thinking I might test and see how far I can go by afking for an hour or so.

Downside is that most of them travel from left to right so getting back to the earlier stations for contracts may well require a bigger tank.

You can always get back to previous stations with no issue. Going back to station to the left (at least, didn't try visited stations to the right), has no range limit. You can even jump directly from furthest You can get to the left all the way back to initial station.
Thanks for the tips. I was able to get to the next station so all good for now :-)

Funny how using an asteroid as a taxi was something I picked up on quickly but somehow I completely ignored the unlimited jump to a station.
