Please give us the option to remove film grain
And other graphic options but the game is a bit too "cluttered" visually because of these options

Agreed. The film grain and chromatic aberration are hideous.

If I can't disable chromatic aberration and film grain, I won't purchase the game. These settings strain my eyes and fatigue my ciliary muscles.

Exactly ! Why no option to disable it ? When I dive in the sea in reality there is no film grain too !

I agree here. The film grain is a bit too much and breaks the immersion
The Captain Aug 29, 2023 @ 11:08pm
that looks bad indeed

The Fox 1975 Aug 30, 2023 @ 10:35pm

Well it's not, you can turn it off with the command "Show Postprocessing", using UUU console.
This turns off ALL post processing, but goes to show that there must be a command somewhere to disable it.
Most likely a custom shader the devs have used.

When i read its possible to disable it, i will purchase the game, it looks stunning though.

Not having a full graphics menu is my biggest complaint by far for this game. Graphics menu is the first stop I make in every new game and was a bit more than surprised to find such limited options. There is so much I would turn off, but the film grain and depth of field drive me crazy.

I'm enjoying the gameplay but film grain and depth of field is first thing I notice between cinematics.

I literally came here after seeing the screenshots to see if anybody was complaining about the film grain. It looks like ♥♥♥♥. And you can't turn it off? That's a hard no sale.

Film grain is TRASH is games. Never understood why devs HAVE to add it in every game. It belongs to movies mostly (even there it is TRASH, I avoid movies that use it), no buy until you remove or give option to disable this trash.:steamfacepalm:

Agreed. Watching the trailers and the chromatic aberration is absolutely over the top. I refuse to buy this until there's an option to disable.:steamfacepalm::steamthumbsdown:
