What does one do in this game? So far I can't tell, except that you explore.
I'm talking about the actual gameplay the player will engage in.
Is there combat? Can we collect anything? Can we make anything? Are there any progression mechanics or is it more of a visual novel?
What makes the game exciting to you, and what doesn't?
Thanks.
Exploration, crafting, completing missions and side missions (photographing, repairing, collecting etc.). You can swim around by yourself or use a small submarine. There's no combat as far as I know.
So far, I'm really digging the chill vibe. It does feel like Subnautice in the overall theme - you have a base and submarine. But I'd liken the game to Firewatch - lots of exploration and dialogue. Although this game does have objectives that you can tackle in a non-linear approach, meaning you don't have to do one to do the other, but you can do the in any order.
