Is it just me or is Pseudo kind of bad?
All of his shapes destroy his other shapes, so he isn't really able to develop either his board or his trash. He has some decent deck control, and okay damage, but i'm struggling to see why I would play this guy other than flavor. Most Sentinels of Earth Prime characters seem stronger than the average Sentinels of the Multiverse characters, too so he sticks out like a soar thumb to me as one of the worst heroes in both games. If you throw Cauldron into the mix (and why wouldn't you), he falls even lower. I feel like he wouldn't be overpowered if he had an ongoing of equipment that allowed him to have 2 or maybe even 3 shapes in play, which just illustrates to me how underpowered he is.

When setup he can do quite a bit of damage just by changing shape 3 times a turn, as well as tank if he needs to. He can also play support with both card draw and deck manipulation powers.
He's not the strongest, but far from the weakest. I'd put him above many other characters in SotM, SoEP, and Cauldron.
I too struggle to find a way to make him shine. There's probably something I'm missing like Naturalist's variant card breaking him open but I can't find it!

It takes some work getting used to him. He's not my favorite hero and I find him to be merely ok. He does get the job done though.

What sorts of interactions should I be aiming for? Where does he shine?

He can help others draw cards, which is almost always a boon. He can switch between different shapes multiple times in a turn, up to 3 times, healing and dealing damage. He does have some pretty weak or at best very situational shapes, but several are good. I like to keep multiple shapes in my hand so I can switch to a less useful form during my start and then swap between the better ones at the end.

When I'm learning a new hero, I like to use Team Leader Tachyon so I can make sure that I have as many cards as possible in my hand. This lets me play around with different tactics against different villains and environments to see what works best.

Thanks man I'm going to give him another go my next game.

Same with Tachyon...I always use her or the Legacy with the card play power if I'm showing the game to new people.
