How to use "Hero Memories/Hero Trait: Zealot of War'

I have a number of these "Hero Memories/Hero Traits" but I have no clue where you plug them into the game so you can use them. When I go to the Hero Trait screen, I can see where my "Hermann Family Shrine" and my "Hermann Family Medal" are plugged into the screen, but I can find no place to plug in all the "Memories" (like "Hero Memories/Vengeance Bullets/Hero Trait:Lethal Flash". What am I doing wrong?
