Awful Lag In Co-op

is this being addressed anytime soon? The server lags so bad at random when grouped with other players, yet it's perfectly fluid when sitting in town. Right now it's absolutely unplayable, it can lag for up to 5 seconds at a time making even simple navigation a hardship, and bosses are literally impossible.
