How to play with friends

Hi, I started playing with my wife and I can't see her in the same map as me. Can't find any party or friendlist feature, how can we play together?

There is a team-up mode being introduced, but there is no formal multiplayer. They promised it quite some time ago but from the sounds of it, realized it was a much bigger under-taking than they thought, so it's been a W.I.P. since then and "team-up" seems to be a beta test for it. So you may be able to team up using that feature.
