Xbox Controller Not Working

My controller is connected and works fine on other games on Steam but once i open the game the controller seems to be registered on the game and the buttons change to controller keys but when i push anything nothing happens, is this just me, am i doing something wrong? Can anyone help to get it to work

Controller is critical for me. Please fix. Can't move after looting. Have to use mouse click and drag to get the character to move at all.

Same issue, after looting players don't move, i have to click on the bag in top right corner with the mouse so the controller start working for moving caracter. Using the right arrow (open the inventory) doesn't dispel the flashing ring on the bag icon and have to manual click with mouse everytime

Same issue. Tried to pick this game up because I heard I can play it with a controller. Can't.

Try updating it using the Xbox Accessories app. If that doesn't work, reset it and reconnect. I have an Xbox, and it's working perfectly!

Just did this and still doesn't work this issue is over a year old and they haven't even bothered to acknowledge the issue
