Impossible to bind account

Choosing to "unbind" my steam account - saying "For security purposes, you must bind another account".
Okay, choosing "bind" my google account(where is all my stuff) - saying "Cannot. This account already binded"(no, its not).

True, I have never seen more crooked developers, neither on PC nor on smartphones. Because of their idiotic decisions, I lost my account, which I have from release. Don't make more games, it's not yours.

1. Start the game and open the account center from the menu
2. Bind the account to taptap/apple/google account that HAS NOT been bound to torchlight before.
3. Unbind the Steam account.
4. Close the game and restart it from Steam.
5. Game will ask you to bind an account, Pick your OLD account.

1) I don't have another google account.
2) Read the neighboring topics, people write that this method does not work.

BTW there is no option to choose another google account.

Create a throwaway taptap account, that's what I did.

i just used these steps and it worked for me got all characters and account from previous two seasons :

1. Start the game and open the account center from the menu
2. Bind the account to taptap/apple/google account that HAS NOT been bound to torchlight before. (must be one you didnt use before.)
3. Unbind the Steam account.
4. Be sure to log off from Gmail account in Google - This part most important and was missing in instructions steps.
4. Close the game and restart it from Steam.
5. Game will ask you to bind an account, Pick your OLD Gmail account from selection.
6. Now i got access to all mine old characters.
