Character has been deleted or disappeared

I had a character get to the end game a few weeks ago and have returned to play today and the character is no longer available to select, i get put straight into character creation when I click start. It wasn't a seasonal character either, although i did actually have a seasonal character who has also disappeared.

any help would be appreciated

Update: I now have access to my characters again. Seems they were connected to my google account, not steam account. If you cant seem to bind a google account in game, make sure to use the log out button in the options in game, then bind your google account.

On the character select screen there should be a blue button with some white shapes on it. If you click that it should pull up a list of all characters on your account. You may need to hit the back button to exit character creation first.

If you have no other characters in that list then I don't know what to tell you. Did you log in using the same account as when you last played? I bound my account to google originally so if I logged in using a different service somehow all my characters would be gone.

Same happened to me. I lost Rehan lvl 7x, (it's not about the char) all things from previous season (this is the real loss), including pets, stash space etc. I had to create a new character and buy everything all over again. I tried contacting their support through their in-game form, but that just contains table with some nonsense. I wrote about this, no one cares. Not surprised.

Hi, that may be because we add the steam log in this season, so when you log in through steam, it will create a new account, so you may need to try to log out and log in through the
thrid-party account. Sorry for the inconvenience

I never had any other account, I have played through Steam since day one.
What I am trying to say - I don't have a login. I just click on "play" on Steam, and then the game, every time, asks me to bind the account. I have tried that. I doesn't work. Nothing gets sent to the entered e-mail. This is all beside the point. So again: I never had any other account, I have played through Steam since day one.
I cannot log in to another 3rd party account, there isn't one that I have access to. And, it's a bit too late now. My bad rating for lost character will stay.
I will also not be investing any money into TL:I since it's not guaranteed that the items I buy or acquire will not get "lost".

Did you play during the first season? If so you would have HAD to have logged in using something else in addition to launching the game off Steam.

To play the game during the first season you were required to bind your account to Google, Apple or TapTap. Binding your TLI account to Steam was not available last season so you would have HAD to have done it at some point.

You don't see the login now because it does it automatically. But the very first time you launched the game during season one the game client would have prompted you to login with a third party account of your choice. There was NO other way to play the game without doing so. That's what the developer has been trying to tell you.

If you started at some point during the first season you not have been able to play the game without one of the third party accounts I mentioned.

Launch the game, click the button with three dots in the upper right corner and click "account center". On the page that comes up try clicking "Bind >" next to whatever account or accounts you have and login using those. I bet you anything your lost account comes back.

If you persist in claiming that you don't have one of these logins I dunno what you tell you. There was no way to play during season one without binding at least one of them.

That's cool that you added a STEAM login, I know there were people who wanted that. Too bad it'd probably be a real pain to make it so we could transfer our characters from a google (etc) login to a STEAM account/login instead.

That's cool that you added a STEAM login, I know there were people who wanted that. Too bad it'd probably be a real pain to make it so we could transfer our characters from a google (etc) login to a STEAM account/login instead.

Sorry, we are also trying to optimize this. But now you can still make it happen, you just need to unbind the steam account which was created and bind it to the original account.

Nah, I meant I wish I could transfer my characters from the Google login I had to create originally, to the STEAM login instead. Unless you're saying I can do that?

This does not work, it keep logging me in on steam account. When I bind my google account it says failed to bind and there is no way i can change my steam account.

You should read the stickied topic about binding. They screwed up the process.
