They PLAN on having Multiplayer. But it's Single Player for now.
Is this the "100% multiplayer on release" kinda of plan? Sorry if that's an obvious question.
It's a "Maybe we will do it if the game isn't dead by then" type of plan.
Oh, no! Devs! Quick! Implement Coop or we will lose Valaryant! We can't have that! How can the game possibly exist if Valaryant won't play it! Sure, there are tens of thousands of Single Player games in the market. A lot of them sold tens of millions of copies. But they don't have Valaryant in them, so they are trash!
Brief and reasonable. I think we can see who's been generous with their clown awards.
Why are you being so defensive over someone else's opinion on a game feature? Torchlight has always been a coop game, so yes it's in peoples right to be confused or upset if a newer gamer in that franchise removes a core feature that's been in the game since the very first game.
Wow, you said that with a whole lot of confidence, didn't you? Torchlight 1 wasn't, in fact, Coop. Coop came with Torchlight 2. Feeling really dumb now, aren't you?
That being said, if coop is comming in the future, my only concern is if multiplayer will be a different game mode than single player, forcing players to create new characters if they want to play coop or if we will be able to enjoy multiplayer with our levelled characters.
Not that it realistically matters, unless he plans on playing on "Standard" instead of the Ladder.
