Playing on Mobile

Can’t get answer from the Facebook page. I can’t play the game on T Mobile cellular service. It gets me to my characters but when I try to select one it gives me “network connection error”. Anyone else experiencing this?

Works fine when connected to wifi and this is the only game I’ve ever had this issue with.

It is still an issue. I haven’t gotten past select my character a single time unless connected to wifi. I will email a picture to you. Thank you for looking into it.

You can try a VPN type service like Blokada on mobile that will allow you to use an alternative DNS service and check if doing so will allow you to play the game.

Certain cell phone service providers may randomly block or unblock specific services in order to try to charge extra for them. If you have enough data in your data plan then it should allow you to use it however you like, but if this game communicates with Chinese servers then those may be blocked by said cell phone service provider.

This worked. Just installed a free DNS and the game works now. That is ridiculous.

A user below suggest using a VPN and I can confirm that is the problem. I installed cloudfare and the game works fine now. Not sure if this is something you guys can address on your side.

I’m having these issues when on mobile data too, my service provider is Telstra (Australia) everything is fine when I use wifi tho..

What DNS did you end up using? Having the same issue!

The google DNS servers 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 work really well for gaming in general.

This is still an issue. No mobile connection via T-Mobile (Germany).

I‘ve seen the suggestions of using a VPN, but I really don‘t feel like installing a third-party app just to get this running. It‘s a game that‘s meant to be played mobile, it has to work put of the box. If not, well… there‘s enough other games. The direct contender with a capital D is working flawlessly.

Tower of Fantasy had the same issue and never fixed it, kicked that from my phone as well. With the huge amount of similar games on the market, it‘s just not worth the trouble.
