You first need to ask: "Why are people using macros?"
You will reach several answers. Although, I'm willing to bet the most common one would be "Because the game takes a long ass time to grind."
Now of course, there will be those actors who use these things to get an advantage over everyone else - as in, simply getting a crap ton of resources in a day - and since those exist, such a change is O.K.
But the main issue still remains: The game takes a lot of time to grind. I've already cleared Mirror Dungeon several times. I've already cleared both luxcavations several times. Why not add an auto-mode? Why do I need to sit here, for upwards of an hour, to do a daily farm?
Every other gacha takes 10 minutes at best. Arknights, which is slow to grind, has an auto-mode, so all you have to do is tap a button to start the level, then leave the phone off to the side, until the run is over and you have to repeat.
But in here, you have to sit next to the computer/phone at all times, to tap the "win rate" button in each turn.
Sincerely: Add an auto-clear already. Limbus is, in my opinion, the worst gacha when it comes to daily farming.
It's not even reliable to hold down the click to make the animations go faster, It arbitrarily decides when it wants to work or not. E.G.O animations make me not want to use a cool feature of the game because it just makes things take longer at this phase.
I don't care about the macro side of things, I don't use em. But at the VERY LEAST.... Why isn't there a speed up or x2 speed button or animation skip option?
This is a standard feature in many mobile based games. Not even counting Gachas. Because they know the ooo and aaa factor is going to pale after you start to get into the grinding aspect. Battle Cats has it, Arknights has it...
Come on PM, I like your game. Your compensations have been decent. But this is a feature that fits the style of game and it's current... To be polite about it, early release amount of content.
i mean this is all just an assumption^^. there is nothing wrong with devoting a portion of their time to continue limbus story line and i wouldn't be upset over it either. the idea behind limbus was that its generates money for them so that they can continue their passion projects and make even better games. what they actually do with the money is for them to decide, if they end up going the cash grab route ill stop supporting them simple as, but if they actually keep to their word why wouldn't i support them?
The reason for this is because you can use a macro to farm mirror dungeons which gives BP EXP. Now this isn't much of a problem until you get the Limbus Pass, in which then you can farm egoshard crates which is basically the guaranteed pity of this game and farm for unlimited identities/ego as soon as they come out. The fact that they even had to fix the issue where you don't get anything after getting 255 BP levels means that people actually started to hit that limit and got 585 Nominable Egoshard Crates as a result.
So to me, the ban is pretty justified.
Also for the uninformed people, macros are not considered to be cheating in at least most gacha I've saw, fighting games, shooting games or even mobas as far as I've seen consider it cheating due to unfair advantages it provides when fighting against other players (although even some gachas who have pvp generally do not ban people who use macro) Third party tools such as cheat engine and stuff that inject stuff directly in the client are another thing and thus people can be banned for it, most popular gachas have it though so limbus seems to be following that trend.
jihoon probably saw people reaching battlepass 255 and went "!!!! no way these people achieved it that fast wtf let's ban them just in case" lol
This is such an easy to solve issue, just add a way to skip effects and make the battle go 3x faster ffs, that isn't something hard to implement, even the most poo poo gacha game has it.
The banned sign in this coment make this so funny to read.
