Gregor's base EGO

I've noticed that Gregor's base ego character sprite has the symbols of the Durante on his arm. What does it mean and why is Gregor the only one with the symbols? And is it possible to foreshadow future skills by looking at the other symbols?

Both Gregor's EGO and Durante reference the previous game - Library of Ruina. Note that all of Durante abilities have a dual naming convention. Pigritia, Ira, etc are Latin names of Sins. Meanwhile Gebura, Binah, etc are names of the support characters from the previous game. From that we can infer the uncensored name of Dante's Canto 9 skill - Malkuth.

As for how it all relates to Gregor, that requires further explanation of the symbolism used within the series. I could elaborate on it further, but in the end it's still going to be my speculation at best, until PM reveals where Gregor's story is going.

Yea, we don't know what those locks are for, but his fingers... probably mean some of his "upgrades" made by herman.
We already saw his first finger - roach.
What other mean/do we don't know.
