PM please make everything 000'ID able.
What I mean with that: in a new update, make that players can waste their resources to upgrade an ID of their choice for the next, waste a lot (50%) of identity shard. "What I mean with that"?

If you have a 0 (base) id, to make it to tier 00 you need 225 shard of that character. And to make that a 000 ID, you need 450 specific shard.

So:

0 to 00: 225 shards
00 to 000: 450 shards

With that, you guys can make new upgrades and even make some characters better for comps and builds, and not only "spam 000 IDs to the moon" like everyone does. And also, make that you can pay for a ticket for upgrade, so you guys can earn money too.


But why this is my concern? A lot of characters that are 00 IDs to each season turns into a less desirable ID (even some goods ID like season 1 Gcorp Gregor who is less valuable with all of that healing in the game) AAAAAAAND focus somehow into balance of every ID to not turn something like we are suffering today (examples? 00 BL outis, KK hong lu, Sloshmael, mariachi cinclair, and others that REEEEEEEEALY NEED A BUFF because they are so bad that nobody uses then only for the challenge)

And also, with that, we can finally uses our base sinners for some comps because let's talk real here: all the base sinners are underpowered with all this power creep, and this isn't LOR that you REEEEALY need to throw away some of your valuable "cards" because power creep. Just help them

And also I know that I talked about the Gcorp Gregor here and he is an 000 ID, but he is an example of what will happen with the good IDs in others seasons. To me the only "buff" that Gcorp Gregor need is put only one stagger at 10% of his HP (so if he is killed is because you overstressed him. The idea of Gcorp Gregor isn't be a healer killing machine? So he need to tank all the damage and heal that too).

I have a lot of ideas for buffs/nerfs for some characters but I will stop here.

Issue with that is that is going to absolutely cannibalize the current shard economy in how we grab future IDs in turn.

The better option is upties, but utilize a new Item to grind for instead of just thread. Someone already suggested the idea of using Spool for the next set of upties to allow for thread to not be butchered within its current state farm-wise.

Most of the problems with those IDs stem from early game design, which was still an issue when UT4 was added. By now PM seem to have gained a grasp on how powerful the ID should be, so those problematic IDs should be mostly/fully fixed with UT5 (whenever it'll happen). Some of them (like the dreaded Sloshmael) will most likely require HEAVY tweaking though.

P. S. Also, if we're still following the FGO inspirations for this game, LCB IDs MAY gain a 00 rarity and a power increase, but who knows...

0's are the rarity of the ID not a power boost like levels/upties are. That would devalue 000's and probably violate some gacha law out there
Honestly I'd much rather have a system where you can "level up" each skill individually, or have each sinner gain an enhanced kit once their canto is done. Adding more upties is a bandaid solution.

On that idea, i used to play a gacha called Brave Frontier (it's been EOSd for a few years now).
One feature in it iirc was that some units (and good ones at that) were locked behind raids.
I think that having the odd ID in the future locked behind beating a canto could be great.
Jesus, I am trying to get everything to uptie 4 and now you are suggesting even more grind? The hell is wrong with you?

The problem with being able to make any ID into a 000 is that you get less starting cost in mirror dungeons for using 000s, would be better to balance everything with uptie 5 or something similar
First off, the game's already a massive torture grind, especially for F2P players who only get 3 crates every freakin' dungeon run. Second, why would anyone spend a ridiculous amount of shards to make some IDs slightly better when there's plenty of three stars that's been doing a decent job at carrying the game and only costs 400 shards to buy and 50 shards for the tier upgrade? Unless that Mariachi Sinclair comes with a mariachi band that plays mariachi music, has his idle animations replaced by constant dancing while also becoming SSS tier, I'm not sacrificing 150 to purchase, 450 to upgrade and whatever extra shards to uptier just for a 'slightly better id'

I feel like PM could buff Sloshing the way they did Reindeer Ish, even by reaching out to the community for ideas.

Hell, they could do that for ALL the IDs that need to be buffed, like most of the Zwei and N Corp gang.

We already have a system in place to buffing characters, the Uptie system, and PM has done a pretty decent job overall in making more ID's shine with those upgrades.
