A fair point: it would behoove me to post my documentation so that people can get a glimpse as to what the format is like before they choose to take the leap.
Here it is! [docs.google.com]
Good question. My answer:
I've put some serious consideration into the build variety achievable using both items you could receive in-game, as well as Perks you can spend ExP to take. My direct answer is yes.
To be more specific, there is a specific combination of perks that I explicitly designed to synergize with each other and create something just like the Multicrack Office fixers. With those perks, you would be able to wield greatswords in one hand, and be able to attack with all of them in a single action (with penalties of course, but still).
Prosthetics are something you can obviously obtain, though of course the availability of them is dependent on your GM.
The server creation was a lot faster than I anticipated, and it's actually ready to go right now thanks to a concentrated effort today.
To those interested, I leave the server link here! [discord.gg]
For those that may not be very familiar with the setting, I'm working on a supplementary document that should brush you up with the known parts of the setting to ensure everyone knows what's going on should they choose to play. In addition to this, it will also function of somewhat of a monster manual for GM's to easily assign stats to an enemy based on the level the players are, as well as skills based on the faction that enemy is a part of. Ideally, it will work as a template for a GM to create enemies for encounters easier.
In the coming weeks, I also plan to run a playtest group to give people an opportunity to try out the game and provide feedback, while also (hopefully) enjoying the story I'm currently preparing!
I'm currently still conceptualizing what story I would like to tell, though I'll be more active in updating my thoughts on it in the discord (found in an above post). Feel free to join, if you're interested in playing.
Right now, I'm leaning towards players being from a Fixer Office though I'll be doing a series of polls from players to see what it is they'd like to do.
