Stuck on connecting

Any time I start the game up and click, it simply gets stuck on connecting. The only thing I've found that lets me play the game is clearing all caches and redownloading all the files but I really dont want to have to do that every single time I want to play it, there has to be an alternative way.

It doesn't get stuck, you're just to impatiant to wait.
What happens is a FPS drop in some systems that makes the connection to the server process considerable slower, I also have the same issue. What you have to do is just wait for like 1 to 2 minutes and it will eventually connect. There is no clear reason why this happens but it doesn't seem related to internet speed at all, and I bet people with high end specs doesn't experience this, so it is probably a hardware related optmization issue, even though it shouldn't be because the game isn't heavy demanding spec wise.

yeah the game takes forever to connect, because the frame rate on the login screen slows considerably when i try to connect. sometimes it wont connect at all and ends in 'not responding'. the best way ive found to combat this process is to make the game window as small as possible until it connects
