Speculations about new 000 Hong Lu

So as of now the only sinner who doesn't have three 000's is Hong Lu, and the only sinner who doesn't have three 00's is Ryuoshu. It's safe to assume that the next banner will probably cover these up (doubt it'll be ahabmael sorry ishmaelcels)

What do you think they gon' give us? My bravest idea that they'll do a Dieci Hong Lu to spice things up, some sinking and MAYBE negative coins (like he gathers dark and disturbing knowledge rather than regular one). Probably won't happen because that's not really what the gem man is about, but they owe Dieci and Sinking some attention, don't they? no ideas about new ryuoshu id though hopefully not liu

Anyway just really interested about learning what other ppl think bout it

I was actually thinking Dieci Ryoshu, because then it would give her some proper synergy with her Soda EGO.
So if we're grabbing from generic factions, Hong Lu could have a Dieci ID to go with his base EGO, or a poise/tremor ID that feeds his own Soda EGO.


I've actually been thinking maybe the final story package will be Ahab 000 ID, with a Stubb 00 ID. Why? Because they'll count as Pequod ID... but they'll both be pallidifed.

We might get a Gasharpoon EGO ID in a later canto when we rematch Ahab, whereas this one will just be pallidified.

Well Hong Lu already have 2 seasonal IDs so I think some random assoc. would be great for him as he doesn't have any 000 ID on the general dispenser

it feels to me that their resonance gimmick is too straightforward and boring and thus experimentation is heavily limited (just use don + heathcliff and maybe meursault too), which is usually not the case with other archetypes

burn id still needs more IDs so a 00 burn id for ryoshu would be nice, especially since burn teams can now fuel 4th match flame. the blowjob brothers are all pretty boring, so hopefully she'll interact with burn in a way that isnt just extra coin power.

not sure what hong lu could get, maybe a dieci fixer id? we already know that rodya is a fist, so hong lu could be a key

Hm, part of me is hoping we'll alternatively get a 000 Raven/Reindeer/Rabbit ID for him (not chonky enough for Rhino I'd say). Unless all the Deici types are airheads I don't see him being the bookworm type (then again, who'd expected friggin HEATHCLIFF 7-SEC!?).

Hm... Otherwise, hard to say what he could potentially get. Looking at the list of existing "groups"...
-Maybe a 000 LCCB ID (they still have none).
-Very low but not impossible odds of an 000 L-Corp Remnant ID. (Not to be mistaken with the L-Corp Headquarters group for Walpurgis.)
-An 000 Zwei ID? Undoubtedly it will suck, if so.

Not much else I can think of that's remotely possible that he already doesn't have an ID for, group-wise.

I have no idea what they'd do for a 000 L-corp remnant though, since we've only had one character show up that even fits that description. LCB I wouldn't get your hopes up, they seem squarely in the 2 star catagory of being gimmick fillers, 3 stars are more gimmick captains. If you actually look at the ability sets up for example 2 stars tend to be better at setting up someone than 3 stars are, while 3 stars end up getting all the coin power or a gimmick that's more about winning the fight. In that sense a 3 star LCB sinner would be weird and almost go against their 'I'm going to be good at this one form of support' style role.

Also Zwei gregor doesn't suck so I don't really see why you're saying any other 3 star zwei will. The only Zwei that actually sucks is sinclair and he still exists as just a meat shield that generates protection, everyone else has their benefits and place that isn't being beaten to a pulp.

Man all I can say to this is that the LCB and basically every Zwei sinner is fine so long as you play them right. I've had relatively great success with them both on my team and as supports. I know all you care about is flat damage and clash power but man your reality is so limiting its infuriating. PM wouldn't be leaving those Identities in such a 'bad' state if they weren't fulfilling their intended functions.
