If you're (like me) looking for Water E.G.O (2.5x DMG from crits), you can use fuse E.G.O option with random 2-3 Tier Poise E.G.O gift and 2 random 3 Tier E.G.O gifts, to get 4 Tier Poise E.G.O gift with 90% chance. You can still get stupid blue stone, so you might want to grab more 3 TIer E.G.O gifts just to fuse it once again.

There is also a Starlight ability which lets you to rig the result. Get that, pick Poise as the desired outcome and you can use three random EGO Gifts of high rarity, instead of Poise ones.

Most ppl don't abuse gift fusion, while they should, as certain gifts are quite trashy in md for their rarity, and better used as a fuel for fusion.

Yeah, sometimes I just fuse 3 tier 3 gifts that don't apply to me and can end up with something like downpour on my tremor team at times.

Funny, but I was also incorrect. Turns out when you choose which gift category you'd like to get, you don't have to use gifts of same category to get it. Chances of getting gift of category you've chosen depends solely on amount of gifts you put (40% at 2 and 90% at 3), so that's pretty cool. Really helps with fusion gifts.

Since we are clarifying stuff, ideally you will spend two tier III's and one tier II to get your tier IV. It's the cheapest way to do it.

The 'guide' in the fusion menu shows all the outcomes for various rarity combinations. Use that to make sure you are most frugal.
