[Spoiler] What are the odds of getting the same Erlking Heath as ID?

This isn't a post about if we are getting an Erlking Heathcliff as an ID or not, but rather a theory-lore post about what we might get as an ID (Not to be confused with what PM has planned, obviously)

As everyone that has reached the end of the story knows, Heath and Cathy both have a connection with each other through all of the Mirror worlds. This also applies to Erlking Heathcliff. Removing Cathy means we've changed a lot of things about Erlking. Besides changing the fact that this was considered to be the 'perfect ID', he will probably be missing out on stuff.

Besides the headless mount (Extremely unlikely we would even get one as part of an ID), an obvious thing that we wouldn't be getting is a coffin (no Cathy, duh.. although tbh using a coffin as a weapon and shield would have been fun to use). As for his sword.. I'm not even sure. As for his hair and outfit, in practice, I heavily doubt PM would end up changing anything about it, though maybe some minor adjustments at best.

In the end, I guess it's up to PM if they end up releasing an ID that is actually based on the Erlking we fought, or if we end up with something different.

We are getting IDs from the world of Wuthering Heights. In this world, Ryoshu takes Nelly's place, and we have seen Nelly in Erlking Heathcliff's flashback. This means no.

While I would love Erlking heathcliff for the funnies, I don't think its possible. Whatever powers they unlocked their quest to kill all heathcliffs only occurred because of their extreme love for #####. So literally their possibility just doesn't exist anymore, it can't exist without her. If we get Erlking, it will be the version of them that exists without #####'s influence, or it'll be as heathcliff's ego once we start seeing those. Since I can imagine the two of them having very similar evolutions of power, even if the nature is opposite.

We will get something. It's Heathcliff season after all. Maybe not that cool looking greatsword coffin version, but a hobo with a bat, who knows.

I think that was a reference to LoR character, but it's possible we'll see them soon enough.

it'd be interesting to see an Earlking Heathcliff ID because Earlking Heathcliff is already an ID, so it would theoretically be that same one, potentially post-confrontation and aware of exactly what's going on.

the key thing to remember about Cathy is that everyone forgot her, but she didn't cease to exist. her corpse was still in the coffin and events didn't un-happen, especially since heath still remembers her.

I thought that was the point though? Like doesn't it prevent The Hunt from even happening since most heathcliff's go away from the manor without [squares]? Bough's powers are trolling

It's weird since PM seemingly decided that 1) the concept of [][][][][][] is gone, and 2) causality is unaffected. All events have still happened. Heathcliff is still deeply in love with [][][][][][][].
So the Wild Hunt must've happened because that was one of the events leading up to [][][][][] being erased

What happened still happened, we got invited to a funeral and stuff went down. Only detail erased from everyone is who's funeral it was.
