I kinda forgot to try this trick during my canto 6 clear and I was just kinda wondering if there was a specific trick to who gets chosen for new slots in focused encounters? is it selection order giving priority? thanks y'alls

Yes. In Deployment phase, clicking on people give them a number. Number 1 gets Skill Slot 1st, number 2 gets Skill Slot 2nd, et cetera.

A coherent answer is pretty rare from him. But yeah, useful knowlege I keep failing to remember to exploit myself... (Some units just shred stuff when they stack their (de)buffs...)

People keep mentioning soloing and something about getting all slots after turn 1 or 1 slot per turn, I forget which... And they decided to disable it entirely in RR3... So bleh...
One of these days I'll remember to try it out and make a OP strategy out of it... :P

I use the tactic for Gloom and Envy luxcavations. Dieci Rodion with Rime Shank for the Bull, Sunshower Heathcliff with Telepole for the Toad.

I haven't really tried it outside of that, because I keep thinking that I'd rather have six sinners with varied tactics.

It can sometimes be useful if you need a certain sinner to act more than once in a turn but that's about it. Unless you go against solo target or know exactly what you're doing, I'd suggest going maximum 1 sinner less than max amount, since you can suffer pretty badly if clashes don't go your way and god forbid your 2 dice sinners get staggered.

i have a bunch of solo experience so im at least a little familiar with which IDs would appreciate the extra ramp the most! discard IDs and charge/piss charge IDs seem like easy choices, molar outis happening to be both of those works out great for her ^^
