How good is the ID? just got garden of thorns, but i've never ran a sinking team

Well, whatever it is, he's clearly had it worse than Linton did as at least the Heathcliff of the main universe didn't cause him to lose an arm. The Heathcliff of the universe where Gregor was in Linton's role on the other hand...Erlking Heathcliff would've had good reason to kill him, would've done that universe a favour.

once you have his insight at 3 set evade to all his skill slots then only use the top skill

you cant discard defence skills and you cant discard skills you selected to use so insight will stay at 3 and you reap all the benefits

you could do this for other deici IDs but both yi sang and rodyas main benefit for high insight is more shield generation, and in rodyas case it means taking hp damage to get the damage boost from her passive

You can pull a good sinking team with buttlers, diecis, molar and spicebush. Hell, even base Hong Lu looks better.

First off, his passive requires you to activate gloom res, not own gloom. Second, he gains damage from gaining or losing SP, which means not only it helps Greg early on to gain a slight advantage to get SP, but he also gain advantage for using EGOs. Third, even if you don't gain or lose SP, triggering his active lets him deal more damage based on sinking.

So why are you even comparing a sinking ID with glass cannon potential with a negative-coin rupture/sinking hybrid tank that requires to get hit to trigger his passive?

I run sinking in the story --- he was worth power-leveling from 1 to 45 at the end of Canto 3 and I'm absolutely expecting great things from him based on his performance when I run sinking again in MD3H (Likely 4 at that point).

Sinking in MD is kinda insane now. Before they dont have enough ID that can consistently dish out damage in regular encounters, but the wuthering heights folks are the final piece of the puzzle that makes it click.

Greg's a good unit on his own, but his support passive exists specifically to enable sunshower heath.

His support passive can ♥♥♥♥ you over, but if you're using him that's irrelevant. He works well in a Sinking team and Sinking is S tier in the most recent story 'cause SP having bosses with no minus coins get ruined by Sinking. MD is whatever 'cause Sinking is reduced to being blueberry Rupture.

me put both on team, none of them absent for entire canto.

work so well with entire wuthering and N corp id's. especially oufi heath, nclair.
very recommended. get dieci rodya for extra damage

Nice to hear --- Edgar Gregor is replacing Mexican Sinclair on my team (He's only good for dodging most of the time..) and Butler Faust will replace G Corp Outis (Who is better as support).

Haven't got Butler Outis, but just comparing the IDs, feels like it will be great.
