6-48 Corrosion Hoboclif

So I've been wondering if it is possible to beat the lvl using solo Hobocliff with corrosion strat. I've made several attempts using Buddha, since it gives the most buffs after it's corrosion activation, but no avail, can't do ♥♥♥♥ about his coffin attack that instakills. There were some strange tidings happening during the fight, like Hobocliff instantly dropping from 0 to -45 sanity. I am assuming this happens when you go negative on ego resources, which can be a thing with corrosion spam. So, I am curious, did anyone run the lvl like this as well, did you encounter the same thing, and did you manage to deal with a blue coffin attack? Thank you.
