I don't see much point using either unless you really like them for whatever reason. Gregor's clash is still 15 and 14 for skill 2 and 3 most of the time and his attack rating is 35 which means he will perform even worse against ids with 38+ ap. He's not terrible actually but then again.. we already have k honglu who is just as tanky but operates with 16 and 20 clash values from the get go. Unless you want even more tanks or something.

Zwei faust (fully levelled and uptied to IV) was not that great. Nowhere near as good as 000 The One Who Grips Faust.

Looks like this is Gregor's best ID thus far, as far as rolls/clashing power goes. But it's still miles apart from the other good clashing IDs, yeah. Best he could do is pull like a 17 if he gets +1 coin power from his S3, but it's hard to say how often that occurs.
(Essentially rolling 15 on S2 and 14 on S3, though his block might come in handy vs attacks that only E.G.O could survive in a clash...?)

Not sure if I should even bother upgrading him to IV, at that point I'd rather just spend it on TT-HongLu who'll atleast have a better S1 and sometimes higher damage output (the only other ones I've IV-ed by now being R-Ishmael and Boat-Ishmael - been hard finding any worth upgrading otherwise).

Well, atleast he's got some great meme-tier art to compensate for it... :P

(Edit: And one of these days I'm gonna have to figure out what the attack rating nonsense means now. What does it even do, apply +1 final/coin power per 5 units of difference in a clash, or something...?)

So tested him a bit on md2 quickrun and he is not too bad there. His damage is passable, on the level of kk honglu I think and he has super fast animations for whatever reason. Green resource is also in abundance so he can just spam apple or his second ego (which cover both pierce and blunt) when there's nothing better to do.

ive tried out both IDs and theyre not bad

im thinking of them being similar to charge based IDs in that they can only really shine when they gain multiple skill slots, allowing them to build up defence level and fill the condition for their power bonuses

Accessing some of their bonuses does require multiple coins, or some other source of the Defense Level Up buffs. I found them both usable on their own without it though, they don't feel absolutely limited like some other IDs are where only at T4 do they seem to be able to self-generate what they need (Off the top of my head, Kurokumo Rodion's poise requirements feel like this).

I think anyone who draws them instead of having 'insert commonly brought up IDs here' can make them work fine.
