When will they release a real game?
I can't take 10 years of this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ live service slop. When will the next game be announced?

Exactly. If you aren't doing well in LobCorp or Library of Ruina, it's a skill issue, and you can readily farm more stuff, and freely customise your builds.
If you aren't doing well in Limbus Company, it's a money issue and gambling issue. This is just you typical P2W gacha.

It's like PM went out of their way to make a worse and more predatory version of LoR.
While this isn't the worst gacha game around, it's a huge step down from PM's other games.

I would love to experience more stuff in Limbus Company, but I just can't build the teams, because they're reliant on a gacha.
By all means, there's a little more contributed to luck in gameplay compared to the other two games, but it is far be it a "money and gambling" issue. Especially after the 'New Manager' update a while back that give players an eccentric amount of Platinum EXP tickets and so on.

Limbus main function as a title was to help finance their other projects, by that very nature it can be considered a predatory motion. And yet they make the least predatory business structure on the market for these types of games. You can completely subvert the entire 'Gacha' function of the game, plenty of players do.

Heck, unless you used mods to cheat the game mechanics, Lobotomy Corporation & Library of Ruina still had plenty of effort needed in chance to gain the equipment you wanted especially in the late game.

If you are struggling with team building or the more nuance mechanics of Limbus Company, there are guides and plenty of people willing to offer help and advice.
What project did they finance? Nothing was announced, only some "maybe we will do this".

You seriously thinking that PM can just announce a new project in 2 years when current Limbus Company takes up the entire team to have consistent updates? Their's a really good reason they have decided to start building the team to get up to 100 employees, since that means they can start following through on making future projects.

You lot always say that if you don't do well in Lob Corp and/or LoR it is a skill issue but when it comes to Limbus, not doing well means you have to open your wallet which isn't true at all, it is also a skill issue, opening the wallet just enables easy mode quicker since you don't need to open your wallet, given how generous this game is even for a Gacha, you can farm for Shards to get the ID's and EGO's you want just like how you can farm for Books in LoR to get certain pages and farm for EGO Gifts in Lob Corp to make your nuggets better.

All content is winnable without the Meta.

But sure go ham and spew pointless, degenerate remarks just because someone disagrees with you. Dunno what is everyone's fascination into responding so aggressively with fetish and sexual harassment remarks as a rebuttal lately.

Difference beimg ofcourse that you arent able to pay for the resources in LoR and you can farm them freely.

Here you're limited by the number of modules you can aquire and you have to farm so much more. The design behind that being the same as every other F2P live service. To wear dowm peoples patiemce and make them more likely to spend.

And base ID's only is a challenge run. Not the intended experience. Its like saying just because someone beat Elden Ring on a DDR dance pad level 1 with no items hat no one can disagree with any design decisions or say a piece of gear is crap. It's a dumb argument.

But sure, go ham and spew pointless drivel blindly defending your favourite live servicr because someone else has a different opinion.
Dont know what everyones fascination is lately with respomding so aggresively when someone says they dont like a decision made by their favourite company. :Roland:

-edit- Also just incase you forgot. I stated that the monetisation model makes me FEEL like the difficulty is cheap. You know. Feelings. Those objective things we have based on our personal experiences.
Hate playing is very unhealthy but you do you.

So far the only actually managed projects they financed have been actual event attendee along with furthering their merchandise. Not to mention actually steadily increasing their studio team size.
There was a number of actual projects they had planned that have been canceled or indefinitely put on hiatus due to the circumstances they've found themselves over the time of Limbus Company between controversies, loss of core team members and just underestimating how heavy a live service title would be of an undertaking.

No idea why everyone is doom posting with this kind of thing, you get a good story which expands on the city and when the time comes, we will get our 3D Action game KJH wants to make, the Distortion Detective game, the city builder I once heard about(excited for this one if it ever becomes reality) and a potential Lobotomy Corp 2(remake?).

Whatever arrives and when matters little, since I know that the moment it arrives, I will love it.

People just really hate gacha's and they do love announcing it, with pattern recognition any company that starts making a gacha are immediately greedy corpo's because making money and expanding the franchise is bad.

It doesn't help to pretend that this game doesn't have any flaws. It is, by design, a stingy and predatory gacha where people are hit with anti-QoL and restricted team-building as a means to encourage people to spend money.
Even with the gacha aspects aside, this game is just worse than PM's other games.

You can't seriously compare this to PM's other games and think this is in any way near as good as them mechanically or thematically.

PM did not need to be predatory. They could've once again made a game as good as Lob Corp or LoR. They chose not to. The theory that this is some elaborate scheme to fund another, nonexistent game, goes beyond optimism.

Credit where credit's due.
Complaints where complaint's due.

This game is more enjoyable and more F2P friendly than some other big games like FGO or Genshin, but that's a REALLY low bar that does not detract from this game's, or PM's faults.

I'll just say that first, this is just gatekeeping in a bad way.
Second, you could be missing achievements and have finished the whole game if you were one of the people who finished the game BEFORE steam achievements were added (I am one of those players and replaying LoR is rather eh.)
Damn, people fell for the bait.

average PM fan smarts is a very low bar, and it shows with so many people falling for doom bait and taking it personally like they just had their family n-corped by kromer, such as people like 0m3ga!

its actually so funny how the same people trying to crucify those dooming limbus are the same people who take it so personally that theyd die on the hill of defending PM over the slightest of criticism as if its their mom or something, they love licking up that boot its pathetic and more patchetic than doomers, and i love dooming, they have less of a life on these forums than me.
They will release a game when they finally decide on what abnormalities and how many to release with their high school dating sim.
