Exactly. If you aren't doing well in LobCorp or Library of Ruina, it's a skill issue, and you can readily farm more stuff, and freely customise your builds.
If you aren't doing well in Limbus Company, it's a money issue and gambling issue. This is just you typical P2W gacha.
It's like PM went out of their way to make a worse and more predatory version of LoR.
While this isn't the worst gacha game around, it's a huge step down from PM's other games.
I would love to experience more stuff in Limbus Company, but I just can't build the teams, because they're reliant on a gacha.
All content is winnable without the Meta.
But sure go ham and spew pointless, degenerate remarks just because someone disagrees with you. Dunno what is everyone's fascination into responding so aggressively with fetish and sexual harassment remarks as a rebuttal lately.
Difference beimg ofcourse that you arent able to pay for the resources in LoR and you can farm them freely.
Here you're limited by the number of modules you can aquire and you have to farm so much more. The design behind that being the same as every other F2P live service. To wear dowm peoples patiemce and make them more likely to spend.
And base ID's only is a challenge run. Not the intended experience. Its like saying just because someone beat Elden Ring on a DDR dance pad level 1 with no items that no one can disagree with any design decisions or say a piece of gear is crap. It's a dumb argument.
But sure, go ham and spew pointless drivel blindly defending your favourite live servicr because someone else has a different opinion.
Dont know what everyones fascination is lately with respomding so aggresively when someone says they dont like a decision made by their favourite company.
-edit- Also just incase you forgot. I stated that the monetisation model makes me FEEL like the difficulty is cheap. You know. Feelings. Those objective things we have based on our personal experiences.
Well true, but the choice is mostly created with the community opinion.
Due to the fact they are bankrupt during that time. Making another game do not really help much if LOR and Lobotomy still have the same amount of money and poor work condition.
Do noted tho, when it was created it was there alot of concern about PM going full greed like all Korean game.
It also going full detail on what their plan and what the gacha system be like.
Which after thinking, we give a chance to PM.
And it was quite well. The gacha is basically useless. It mostly the Battlepass.
Which currently, doing well right now.
But for the question is when do their release the next game? IDK but we do know one thing is PM hate to not finish the game. So once done, it will stop.
However, if PM created another Gacha Game. We would be mad for sure. Cause that the trust and poof.
yes it is gacha with tendency to scam you more, but i am fine with limbus as it is now.
And it has superior plot to almost any gacha game, which are not Mica one.
Limbus main function as a title was to help finance their other projects, by that very nature it can be considered a predatory motion. And yet they make the least predatory business structure on the market for these types of games. You can completely subvert the entire 'Gacha' function of the game, plenty of players do.
Heck, unless you used mods to cheat the game mechanics, Lobotomy Corporation & Library of Ruina still had plenty of effort needed in chance to gain the equipment you wanted especially in the late game.
If you are struggling with team building or the more nuance mechanics of Limbus Company, there are guides and plenty of people willing to offer help and advice.
