i cant beat kromer fight (skill issue? boss too op?)

ive been trying to beat kromer for like idk 4 hours or more but its just impossible. i got her to second phase once somehow but my identities are SO BAD due to the most powerful ones ( the one who grips faust, r corp 4th pack heathcliff ) being a bleed unit. all my other sinners are the 1 star base except don (w corp cleanup agent). i accidentally picked the bleed e.g.o gift (the nail thingy) and used that first aid kit ego gift ONE STAGE BEFORE KROMER. so now idk if i should just restart the whole dungeon and grind until i get good units or something. i have watched guides but i still dont know how resistances work. the only thing i know is to not bring burn/bleed but idk what units/identities i should bring. oh and also the game sometimes wont even open and i was just about to finish it now idk what the hell to do please help im going insane

I'd level up your base units that you have with you. Also how many bleed skills does R heath have? Because I'm pretty sure I've read here that people use him for Kromer. You can bleed her she just can't end the turn with bleed. (I'm pretty sure) when she attacks she gets rid of bleed stacks. I used base Outis, Gregor, Mariachi Sinclair, but you can use base sinclair, in fact his attacks will be better against Kromer he's just less tanky, hopefully you have 3 A sign ego gifts that give him a buff in the fight? I used LCCB faust or whatever, I know it wasnt her base and I'm pretty sure I used W corp don. You definitely have a team that can do it. It's also just. Pretty hard, and sometimes even with dominating or favorable clashes you'll lose. Theres a really handy guide on reddit that some guy who beat it 5 times wrote up. I'd check that out to help more. Theres some attacks that you absolutely want to win the clash for in both phases and I'd save up your egos for those attacks.

Well you can do plenty of things, base identities are good enough to beat it but you might need to do some xp luvication to level them to 30 before attempting, do you have any other sinners that you arent using. Whats your line up?
And if it waay to hard and you dont find a way, dont worry they are nerfing her I think, unless they already did

Having your boss team at level 23 minimum will also save you a lot of headache. Have Sinclair in the final boss fight (bonus points if he's level 30) and have a mixed team that does both Slash and Pierce damage.

I was able to beat it with this combo: Sinclair (LCB Sinner - lvl 30), Yi Sang (Blade Lieange Salsu - lvl 25), Faust (Lobotomy Corp. Remnant - lvl 23), Meursault (LCB Sinner - lvl 20) and Gregor (LCB Sinner - lvl 20).
Of note that Meursault is bad for the fight but I kept him in due to the EGO I had unlocked for him.

It's all about directing the boss attacks against sinners that have the best defense against that type of attack and using your EGO when the boss uses the attack named "I shall claim your life" for insta stagger (you must win the clash).

The game is acting wierd today, I've got a deathscreen when I tried to enter luxcavation. For the Groomer fight, take maybe base meursault or borrow a W-corp one and spam his ego like your life depends on it, this is like super important. Other good identities would be the ones that have cheap ego to counter heavy stuff constantly, like Outis' default ego. Consider maybe bringing Faust as well to beef up sanity with her ego. And w-corp don sounds decent, I suppose it won't be hard to maintain her charge against a single target?

r heath skill 2 inflicts bleed. idk what it means to "end turn with bleed" . i do have the 3 A sign ego gifts (its 4 actually for me idk how) ill check out the reddit guide. thanks

i have zwei section 6 sinclair (didnt use it) i have shi section 6 don. seven section 6 yi sang. blade lineage yi sang. n corp heath and rodion. shi section 5 ishmael and lccb assistant manager ishmael. and also lccb assistant rodion with n corp rodion. also a g corp head manager outis. lobotomy corp faust, w corp cleanup faust and thats it. my line up (which i assume is my 5 units) is mostly base sinclair lvl 25. meursalt (i think thats his name) lvl 20. the one who grips faust lvl 25. r corp 4th pack rabbit and either w corp don or lvl 13 outis

thanks. idk how to "borrow" sinners. does it have to do with friend codes or smth? ill try using those. but sadly i dont think i can swap my faust because i have to redo the whole dungeon again which takes plenty of time but if i couldnt beat kromer somehow ill probably have to redo (and face 200 errors on the start screen)

To check what type of attacks they do, go to your Sinners tab, click on a sinner and the hold click on whichever identity you'd want to take for the boss fight. You will see the skills on the right side, next to their portrait and the resistances under the portrait.

Slash - the one with the curve icon
Pierce - the one that has a line going through a circle
Blunt - the one that looks like a mountain

Do not take Identities that put Fire / Bleed on the boss and if possible take identities that have at least 2 coins for attacks (the guide will show you an image of how a 1 coin attack looks like)

My combo had a lot of 1 coin attacks so I had to be extra careful how I handled the boss attacks. Don't be afraid to use a defensive if you are unsure if your attack will succeed the clash or not.

And finally, I saw you mentioned you have 4th pack rabbit, I don't recommend you use him for the boss, not enough ammo.

Not used borrowed sinners either but yes, its the friends thing.

I was in the same spot like you yesterday, got to the boss, hit my head on the wall with several retries and then just opened the guide and restarted the dungeon. It sucks but if what you brought with you in the dungeon is relatively ok and you're careful you might just be able to finish it without a restart.

thanks! ill probably have to level up some other character to 25+ so i can replace 4th pack rabbit. the issue isnt ammo for me . he just does TOO MUCH bleed damage with concentrated fire

rn ill just do a lot of exp dungeons so i can get exp tickets. i sadly dont have enough resources to uptie (those 3 lines or smth) some of my units but if i get enough ill probably focus on w corp don
