is there a way to revert/change the (character) artwork to before we tier3 them?

Yeah there is.

You have to go to that character's profile and next to their artwork there'll be a button that'll let you switch between them.

I tried your solution but for me it only allow me to see the previous artwork because when I hit back button it change back to the tier 3 artwork.
