Not much, honestly. He used to be a champ in S1 and halfway S2, but powercreep got him. He can be still kind of useful, his 2nd and 3rd skills are quite good, but not enough clash power for serious fights, mdh floors 4-5.

what should i use then if im missing bleed count? i always can maintain potency on bosses but not count h

The KK Lu is absolutly not the way to go, he has no count a clashes badly. You might want to substitute with nails for now, the only easy count aplication is on KK Ryoshu and R Meursault. If you realy need Hong Lu in bleed team wait till next Walpurgistnacth and get a Hook Lu instead.

Even if, for some reason, you decide to use Kurokumo Honglu, ut3 is enough. His ut4 doesn't give him anything noticeable.

For bleed, hook hong lu is the man. He singlehandedly creates bleed team, stacking lots of bleed. He's also pierce, and got orange coin, really perfect combo with N Faust on exp farm 5.

In mirror dungeon KK hong lu is funny for turn 1 kill, but blood mist makes everyone strong.

Pequod Heath got big count on S2 criticals, but takes some preparation with poise gifts/identities.

Frankly, If you are doing main story/rr3, count is generally hard to stack for most statuses, so take some EGOs into consideration. But in MDH, with ego gifts it never troubled me.

There is exception for rupture, but it requires setup and some restarts (but boy bosses sure do melt).

Used to be able to oneshot guys from full health in the release days, now he just sucks
also his kit depends on not having lots of bleed on an enemy, for a faction gimmick that depends on giving enemies bleed

Outside of MD, bleed team is not real. Inside MD, most of team play bloody mist which doesn't care about bleed count anyway.

KK Hong Lu work perfectly fine as filler for your teams until you get a full uptie 4 team. He doesn't gain much from uptie 4 but he is one of strongest uptie 3. He is extremely cost efficient for a newbie if you keep him at uptie 3.

I'm not sure how good is for you to go bleed team. We are toward the end of season and some pretty good bleed IDs are going to unobtainable(you can still technically roll for them but that is not advisable) for at least 4 months. Pirate Gregor and the Pequod Squad may or may not became important for future bleed teams and they are all pretty strong IDs.

Getting Hook Hong Lu is good for bleed team but I wouldn't advise you to prioritize him over other bleed IDs while you have already a functional Hong Lu ID. Start investing on him only after all other 000 bleed IDs are fully uptie 4.
