Build your Own MD4 and other things - Season 5 Breakdown

So for people that don't check what updates are heading our way, on the 28th of this Month marks session 5 and with every session comes changes and new updates stated for over the horizon.

Chapter 6

So like most time this will be split into 3 parts meaning you can't get it all done on day one. They will bring out the each part, each week so don't be worried using your Enkephalin in small bits. Its also to note, you NEED to be chapter 5 to get to 6. You can't skip it.

MD4

The biggest one that stands out from the List is MD4 build your own Dungeon in which you select the Bosses and Sins for each floor along side the rewards. While I find it funny that they showed in the Mock up having Yield my Flesh Kim as a floor 1 Boss. Having not only the Green Dawn boss wave fight, but the chance at a double boss. Both will hopefully add a neat gimmick to MD4 as a whole.
Also a reminder that the starlight will reset for MD4 so when it starts to show up, proper you WON't need to really farm starlight anymore.

Crates and Shards

As a normal reminder, because like I said, the update info can fly passed people, all crates and shards will be halved at the start of the season, round down [So 7 becomes 4]. Turning them all into Thread. So if you have an ID or EGO you want to uptie 4. Or perhaps your after a certain one in the dispenser now would be a good time to make the most of them.

Session Passover IDs and EGO

So with a new session certain ID and EGO will now be locked out until the next coming season. Any Season 3 ID or EGO from both normal and event will be locked out, with no one to get it, this season. So if your after BL Meursault or Blind Obsession Ishmael, best to try get them before the 28th or you will be locked out of them til the season turns anew.
So Season 4, you Lose Season 3 but gain the ability to get Season 2 ID or EGO. Like Sunshower Yi Sang EGO and Rosespanner Rodion.

Battlepass

Just like last time the Battlepass is split into a 3 block unlock. Meaning you can't churn out the last Battlepass reward on day 1. So once you unlock a certain amount in the BP you can't do so til the next part unlocks. You can however grind the levels so that once that part is unlocked you can unlock that chunk all at once. So don't be worried going over the limit.
Another change to the BP is now you can't just straight buy the better version, now needing PAID Lunacy of 1300. This is sadly a increase on the cost and while a certain Mugger of Vehicles will be jumping for joy at this. This is still going to be a worthwhile pick up needing you sadly to payout around 16 USD for people who haven't got the Lunacy Bouquet First time Bonus [A bundle and a Bouquet add up to 1300 Paid].
Though I am unsure if first time buy bonus resets each season as mine had.

Level Cap

Lastly the Level Cap is Raising to 45, but is only available once you beat Chapter 5, so you can't over level the early Chapters.


Of Course all of this is subject to change as PM normally notes. I can see some people being pretty upset about the BP in the room. I would say try keep it civil, but this is the steam forums.
