HOW, IN THE NAME OF GOD, DO I BEAT LEI HENG???
I swear i mustve tried to beat him at least 50 TIMES NOW. He keeps killing and nuking my team after his 4-5 COIN AOE???? WHAT WERE THE DEVS THINKING??? No spoilers, but im assuming the final boss is even harder than this guy anyway.

So, the strat i had was to run bloodfiends (Im missing outis, but i have priest gregor, manager don, and princess rodion) And i would run extra defense like zwei ishmael, and cinq meursalt, and use their default egos for extra bind and final power down.

But the thing is, towards the end, it doesnt matter if i keep binding him, he keeps getting stronger. At first he would do like 30 total damage on a S2 slot, but then he would progress to a average 150 damage on a simple S2 slot. I simply cant keep up with the healing and losing sanity, trying to get it back in with winning clashes, and having to deal with preys mark (that passive he inflicts on the sinners)

And to top it off, if one sinner dies, my entire team cripples into two, losing sanity and proceeding to lose every clash and dying in the end.

and the thing is, i cant get better units without grinding my life away in MD, and in other cases, passing the level so i can ACTUALLY see what ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ happens at least.

But honestly, i dont know if youre not supposed to beat him or not, because the lowest i got him was 1700 HP. MAX.

GENUINELY what were they thinking with this guy?? i literally just want to play the game.

Priest gregor
Manager Don
Princess rodion
Zwei Ish
Cinq Meursault

Is that your team?
And all Base EGO i assume

Do you have any more sinner.
What level and uptie lvl are your sinners?
i just duo it with full stop office, a bit RNG.

everyone said its good to have Faust with that ego(fluid sac or base ego) that can heal sp to help early clash. do dante ult for this
NFaust passive is good for sp
base yi sang for support passive
Meur for debuff chain of other.
zwei sinclair for support passive -10% damage
zwei gregos skill can buff defense for all sinner

and i dont know
Your goal in this fight is to reduce his HP to 700. Then a cutscene plays and you win.

Aside from the usual "make sure to max level your sinners before engaging with the boss", there are several tricks to Lei Heng:

1) Use the first turn to remove stagger thresholds of your sinners. He has 6 attacks, you have 7 sinners, make sure that each sinner clashes with a seperate attack and gets staggered, they will all regenerate their HP to max next turn, but the stagger threshold will be gone.

2) Lei Heng has a pattern that repeats every 3 turns:
- Turn 1 - unnerfed spanking of your team
- Turn 2-4 - Fight into one-red-coin Nuke on Turn 4
- Turn 5-7 - Fight into 6-red-coin Nuke on Turn 7
- Turn 8-10 - Fight into 6-red-coin Nuke on Turn 10

Use this pattern knowledge to save High-Clash EGOs for when a Nuke is going your way and to debuff him before said Nukes

3) Main Gimmick of Boss - INNER STERNGTH
In summary: Lei Heng gets buff stacks called INNER STRENGTH when he:
- Wins a clash and deals damage
- Does an Unopposed Attack

This buff powers him up a bit, but it's main purpose is to Power Up his Nukes. Depending on stack, it gives Nukes Base Power and Coin Power.

It is integral to your success that you Do not let him stack this buff on himself . Meaning you should realistically clash with every single skill that Lei Heng throws at you, and if you have a bad turn with two Skill 1s on a Sinner - Do not feed him and use an EGO if you can, and if you can't - just defend.

4) Lei Heng inflicts PREY status on a sinner that deals most damage to him in the previous turn. Prey makes it so:
- Your sinner clashes really bad VS Lei Heng
- Your sinner deals 75% less damage to Lei Heng
- HOWEVER, Your sinner takes 75% less damage from Lei Heng IF he uses a Defense Skill

If a Prey Sinner wins a clash VS Lei Heng - you get bonus EGO resources, which will help you fuel your EGOs.

Use Prey Sinners to either fuel your EGO resources if they have a very powerful skill ready, or let them tank the 4-red-coin Gluttony skill or his 3-coin Envy skill by using a Defense Skill. Do note Sinner Resistances for Prey, even with Prey status a fatal Resistance will still make it so you take significant damage from said skills.

5) Lei Heng inflicts a LOT of Tremor and Fire on your sinners. However, this can be SORT OF KIND OF mitigated. He inflicts it only if he has BULLETS.
He gets Bullets when he uses his Clashable Guard (which he uses every turn I think). There is also a special turn when he summons 2 minions, whose sole purpose is to give Lei Heng upgraded Ammo. I think he also reloads after Nuke attacks.

To counter Lei Heng's ammo supply, Clash with your fastest sinner VS his Clashable Guard first. On Turn 2 he will reload into full ammo, meaning it's entirely wasted, and on Turn 3 and 4 he will not inflict Burn on you, saving you from it's DoT for quite some time. Sadly, for his minions that he summons that one time, you need to spam AoE EGOs while Clashing Lei Heng in order to deal with them, otherwise you are letting Lei Heng get Unopposed Attacks on you and that is an unacceptable trade. If you can't do this - just ignore them and let them reload Lei Heng with enhanced ammo, at that point of the fight it's all about damage on Lei Heng anyway

Matchup Specific Tip - Your Zwei Ishmael can clear ALL TREMOR OFF HERSELF with her Skill 3. She also Tremor Bursts Lei Heng while doing so.

6) After his first 6-red-coin Nuke on Turn 7, Lei Heng turns into a DPS race. At this point, after that skill, unload literally everything you have on him and try to outlast him. There are only 2 ways you can win this:
- You blow Lei Heng up before he uses his 6-red-coin Nuke on Turn 10
- You survive Lei Heng's Turn 10 Nuke, and blow Lei Heng up before Turn 13

There is no realistic way for you to survive longer than Turn 13. It's your in-built timer for this fight.

Keep these 6 things in mind, and you will have increased odds of winning against Lei Heng. If you don't use supports in your team composition yet - I would highly suggest you use Dieci Hong Lu or R-corp Hong Lu from the Support Tab (This fight allows you to Rent any Hong Lu besides Full-stop at lvl 55 Uptie 4 with 3 EGOs Uptie 4) because they inflict little bits of Sinking, which will help you keep his sanity in check (it won't nuke it for sure, but every little bit of SP reduction will allow you to survive Nuke turns better since he won't roll Heads)

Good luck, Manager. Your reward for surviving this fight will be gifted to you after you Beat 8-33 :)
Try 100 times then maybe u get lucky

No, Lei Heng is the ultimate skill check of this Canto and the hardest enemy. You beat him - you effectively win the Canto.

Last Boss is an Endurance fight. Bring healing EGOs, they will be useful.
My tactic was bringing a burn team and bombing him I really can't stress this enough get a outis support with magic bullet ego it's so helpful

Not really needed but do speed up around little.

TYSM this is actually crazy to beat and i knew it couldnt beat it without some sort of help.

Thank you very much for the very detailed explanations of his kit. (no wonder why he kept using preys mark on don)
