Mao Faust needed to be nerfed for the health of the game
She released in a stupidly broken state, they honestly could have just said the nerf was a fix to a mistake

As I said in another post, if Faust doesn't get nerfed then Hong Lu will be the one to suffer. Whatever passives or effects he was going to get surrounding Faust are going to be nerfed into the ground or outright nerf him to keep up team balance.
If anything, the new Hong Lu ID will likely try to fill the gap now left by Red Sheet.
Did their Korean players press the issue? Or it was chinese again that voted the game to oblivion so they pulled back? Or everyone in general?

I think some of you have really low standards for "broken." If we take KJH at his word, the plan was for players to be able to use her S3 at full power every 3~5 turns...which is about how often you'll be seeing her S3 on the dashboard in focused battles anyway, and there's no point trying to meet conditionals in normal battles whatsoever.

I just don't get it.

As far as I understand, her enhanced S3 can also be used when she's blocking unopposed attacks. Which means you can functionally just keep using it regardless of what's on the dashboard in focused encounters.

It's mainly when people run a smaller team that she becomes more broken, but that's the whole point of double slotting anyway

Nah, Red sheets still works fine, there's no gap left by it. Only something overtuned finally getting nerfed liked Ryoshu's final bullet.

And these are the same people "WE WANT THE GAME TO BE HARDER" yk maybe the game would be harder if we didnt have broken sh flying around.
When they see that old characters are overpowered, they just casually nerf them. Why don't they nerf the benefits instead? This is very unreasonable and deserves criticism.

A lotta people use the passive for the talismans, since he's kinda dookie when fielded unless you're lucky with the perfect skill setup. Either way, I just hope that the status gets some nuance moving forward and not just being a talisman machine.
It's pointless. He doesn't need more excuses for him. He is just gonna keep lying to the Playerbase and keep doing whatever he wants in the End even if he has to go all the Back to Season 1 to nerf something lol.

Maybe. Yes. Maybe.

This is a live service game. They cannot release something that will get people to spend money and then directly nerf the said unit, because that would just count as scamming your playerbase. Especially not after promising that they wouldn't have a repeat of the Ring Yi Sang incident. If you can't figure out that much, you shouldn't be discussing the topic

Not really a good example considering the poor financial state of D2 and Bungie in general lmao.
